Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
If you do not know your routers internal IP address please read our How To Find Your Routers IP Address guide.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your router.
By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default the username is cusadmin, and the password is password. Click the Log In button to log in to your router.

Click the Security link near the top of the page.
Put a dot into the SPI Firewall Protection Disable radio button.
Remove the checkmark from the Filter Proxy checkbox.
Remove the checkmark from the Block Pop-Up Windows checkbox.
Remove the checkmark from the Block Web Page Cookies checkbox.
Remove the checkmark from the Block Java and ActiveX Scripts checkbox.
Remove the checkmark from the Block fragmented IP packets checkbox.
Remove the checkmark from the Block Port Scan Detection checkbox.
Remove the checkmark from the Block IP Flood Detection checkbox.
Remove the checkmark from the Block Anonymous Internet Requests checkbox.
When you're finished, click Save Settings near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
