Opening Ports for PS3 inFAMOUS on the Dlink DI-704 Firewall

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your password. Enter the password now.

The Default Router Password is: admin


Click the Log in button to log in to your router.

Click the Advanced link near the bottom of the page.

The menu should change. In this new menu, click Packet Filter.

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to setup your router's firewall for PS3 inFAMOUS. Go ahead and enter the settings shown below into the Incoming Filter menu.

Put a dot into the Deny all to pass except those match the following rules radio button.

Enter 0.0.0.0 into the Source IP box.

Enter the ip address to allow traffic to into the Destination IP box. If you are allowing traffic so you can run a program on your computer, you should enter your computer's ip address into that box.

Enter the ports to allow into the Destination Ports box. The allowed ports can be entered one at a time, or as a range like 41-60.

Put a checkmark in the Enable checkbox.

When you're finished, click Save near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!
