Allow traffic out of your network with the Level One FBR-1407B

Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.123.254.

You should see a box prompting you for your password. Enter your password now. By default your password is admin. Click the Login button to log in to your router.

Click the Security Setting link near the top of the page.

The menu on the left should change. In this new menu, click Packet Filter.

Put a dot into the Deny all to pass except those match the following rules radio button. Enter 0.0.0.0 into the Source IP and Destination IP box. Enter the ports to allow into the Destination Ports box. The allowed ports can be entered one at a time, or as a range like 41-60. Put a checkmark in the Enable checkbox.

When you're finished, click Save near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!
