Prevent traffic from leaving your network with the Level One FBR-1416A






 



Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.0.1.




You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default the username is admin, and the password is password. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.




Click the Advanced link near the left side of the page.




Click the Firewall Rules link near the center of the page.




Click the Outgoing Rules Add button near the center of the page.




Select Any(ALL)(TCP/UDP:1 from the 65535) drop down box. Select BLOCK always from the Action drop down box. Select Any from the LAN Users drop down box. Select Any from the WAN Users drop down box. Select Never from the Log drop down box. When you are finished, click the Save button.

And that is it! You are done!
