Port Forwarding the A-Link RR24API Router for Destroyer Command

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the A-Link RR24API router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the A-Link RR24API Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your A-Link RR24API Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your A-Link RR24API router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The A-Link RR24API Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your A-Link RR24API router. By default the IP address should be set to 10.0.0.2.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default A-Link RR24API Router Username is: admin

The Default A-Link RR24API Router Password is: password


Click the Log In button to log in to your A-Link RR24API router.

Now that you are logged in to your A-Link RR24API router you should see the following:

Click the Advanced button near the top of the page.

Click the Port Forwarding button near the left of the page.

Put a dot into the User radio button.

Click the New button near the bottom of the page.

Forward Ports 3000 on the A-Link RR24API

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Destroyer Command requires you to forward the 3000 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Rule Management menu and then click Apply.

Use the LAN IP box to choose a computer to forward ports to. This box contains a list of computer names that are visible on your network.

Select the applications you just created in the Available Rules list, then click the Add button to move them to the Applied Rules box.

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Destroyer Command on the A-Link RR24API you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
