Login to the Actiontec GT704-WG Router

Now that you are logged in to your Actiontec GT704-WG router you should see the following:

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

Click the Setup / Configuration link.

Click the Advanced Setup link near the left of the page.

Click the Begin Advanced Setup button.

Click the Application Level Gateway link near the left of the page.

Put a dot into the User radio button.

Click the New button.

Forward Ports 3550 on the Actiontec GT704-WG

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. GeoVision RemoteView requires you to forward the 3550 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Rule Management menu and then click Apply.

When you are finished, click the Back button.

Use the LAN Device box to choose a device to forward ports to. This box contains a list of device names that are visible on your network.

Select the applications you just created in the Available Rules list, then click the Add>> button to move them to the Applied Rule box.

When you're finished, click Save and Restart near the left of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for GeoVision RemoteView on the Actiontec GT704-WG you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
