Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Advantek ABR241v2 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login To The Advantek ABR241v2 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Advantek ABR241v2 router. By default the IP address should be set to

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Advantek ABR241v2 Router Username is: admin

The Default Advantek ABR241v2 Router Password is: 1234

Click the Ok button to log in to your Advantek ABR241v2 router.

Forward Ports 2300-2400,47624 on the Advantek ABR241v2

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Flight Simulator 2000 requires you to forward the following ports: 2300-2400,47624. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Port Mapping menu.

When you're finished, click Ok near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
