Before we can forward ports for eChanblard, we need to figure out what ports eChanblard is using. Here is a brief walkthrough on how to do that. Go ahead and open up eChanblard.

Click the Options button in the menu at the top of your screen.

Click the Connection option on the left hand side of your screen. You should see a TCP box and an UDP box. Enter a random port into each of these boxes. It doesn't matter what ports you choose, but a port numbers between 10000 and 60000 would be a good idea. A higher numbered port is generally the best to use, because most ISP's do not block the higher numbered ports. Please enter the port you chose for the TCP box into the box below.
Please enter the port you chose for the UDP box into the box below.
To setup port forwarding on this router your computer needs to have a static ip address.
Try our free PF Setup Static IP Address Program which will setup a static ip address for your computer.
Or you can take a look at our Static IP Address guide to setup a static ip address.
When you are finished setting up a static ip address, please come back to this page and enter
the ip address you setup in the Static IP Address box below.
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
If you do not know your routers internal IP address please read our How To Find Your Routers IP Address guide.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your router.
By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.254.
We do not currently know the default username and password for your router. If you know them, please use our
Comments page to let us know what they are. Thanks!
You can find common passwords that might work for your router in our Default Router Passwords page.
Click the Adavnced link near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Servers.
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. eChanblard requires you to forward the ports you entered above. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Servers menu and then click Save.
