Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the AirTies RT-205 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the AirTies RT-205 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your AirTies RT-205 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your AirTies RT-205 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The AirTies RT-205 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your AirTies RT-205 router. By default the IP address should be set to

You should see a box prompting you for your AirTies RT-205 password. Enter the password now.

Click the Ok button to log in to your AirTies RT-205 router.

How to Port Forward StrongDC++ on the AirTies RT-205

Having trouble forwarding ports on the AirTies RT-205?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your router to save you time and hassle.

Before we can forward ports for StrongDC++, we need to figure out what ports StrongDC++ is using. Here is a brief walkthrough on how to do that. Go ahead and open up StrongDC++.

In the menu at the top of your screen click the File option. In the list the drops down click the Settings link.

There should be a list of options on the left hand side of the window that poped up. Click the Connection Settings option in this list. Put a dot into the Firewall with Manual Port Forwarding radio button. You should see a TCP box and an UDP box. Enter a random port into each of these boxes. It doesn't matter what ports you choose, but a port numbers between 10000 and 60000 would be a good idea. A higher numbered port is generally the best to use, because most ISP's do not block the higher numbered ports. Please enter the port you chose for the TCP box into the box below.

Now that you are logged in to your AirTies RT-205 router you should see the following:

Click the NAT button near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Port Yonlendirme.

Forward User Defined Port on the AirTies RT-205

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. StrongDC++ requires you to forward the ports you entered above. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Port Yonlendirme menu.

When you're finished, click Kaydet near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for StrongDC++ on the AirTies RT-205 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
