Port Forwarding ABC on the Airlink+ AR315W

What is Port Forwarding?

View all Router Screenshots.

Before we can forward ports for ABC, we need to figure out what ports ABC is using. Here is a brief walkthrough on how to do that. Go ahead and open up ABC.

Click File in the menu at the top of the program. Then click Preferences in the list that drops down.

In the menu on the left hand side of your screen, click the Network link. On this page you should see a Port box. You can change the port number that ABC is using if you like. The number that is in that Port box is the port that you will have to forward.

Please enter the number that was in that box below.

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser. If you do not know your routers internal IP address please read our How To Find Your Routers IP Address guide.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.
