Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Asante FR3004CFriendlyNet router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

It's ok if you don't know your Asante FR3004CFriendlyNet router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Asante FR3004CFriendlyNet Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Asante FR3004CFriendlyNet router. By default the IP address should be set to

You should see a box prompting you for your Asante FR3004CFriendlyNet password. Enter the password now.

The Default Asante FR3004CFriendlyNet Router Password is: admin

Click the Login button to log in to your Asante FR3004CFriendlyNet router.

Click the Advanced button near the top of the page.

Forward Ports 5223,3478,3479,3658 on the Asante FR3004CFriendlyNet

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. PS3 Gauntlet II requires you to forward the following ports: 5223,3478,3479,3658. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Distributed Servers Setup menu.

When you are finished, click the Apply New Distributed Servers Setting button.

Click the Status button near the top of the page.

Click the Restart Router button near the bottom of the page.
