Port Forwarding the BT BTHub Router for PS3 College Hoops 2K8

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address
To setup port forwarding on the BT BTHub router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:
- Either try our free program that will setup a static IP address for you called PF Setup Static IP.
- Or follow our Static IP Address guide to setup a static IP address.
Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:
Login to the BT BTHub Router
Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
How To Find Your BT BTHub Router IP Address
It's ok if you don't know your BT BTHub router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
- Either find your router IP address using this guide: How To Find Your Routers IP Address
- Or you can use our Free Software to find your router IP address. PF Static IP Address and PF Router Detector are both free software applications that will help you find your router IP address.
Login To The BT BTHub Router Using Your Web Browser
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your BT BTHub router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

Now that you are logged in to your BT BTHub router you should see the following:
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.
The Default BT BTHub Router Username is: admin
The Default BT BTHub Router Password is: admin
Click the Ok button to log in to your BT BTHub router.

If you can't login to your router because you forgot your BT BTHub router username and password, use our How to Reset a Router Password guide to set your BT BTHub router back to its factory settings.
Click the Configuration pages access link near the bottom of the page.
Click the Configuration link near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Advanced.
Click the Router link near the left of the page.
Click the Add button.
Forward Port 5223 on the BT BTHub
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. PS3 College Hoops 2K8 requires you to forward the 5223,3478,3479,3658 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Port Forwarding - NAT menu and then click Submit.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Port Forwarding - NAT page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Submit.

And that is it! You are done!
Test if Your Ports are Open
Now that you have forwarded ports for PS3 College Hoops 2K8 on the BT BTHub you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
