Port Forwarding the BT Voyager210 Router for iGet

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the BT Voyager210 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

Login to the BT Voyager210 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your BT Voyager210 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your BT Voyager210 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The BT Voyager210 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your BT Voyager210 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default BT Voyager210 Router Username is: admin

The Default BT Voyager210 Router Password is: admin


Click the Ok button to log in to your BT Voyager210 router.

Now that you are logged in to your BT Voyager210 router you should see the following:

Click the Advanced link near the left of the page.

Click the Configuration link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Server.

Click the Port Forwarding link near the top of the page.

Click the Add button near the right of the page.

Put a dot into the User Defined radio button.

Forward Ports 22 on the BT Voyager210

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. iGet requires you to forward the following ports: 22. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu.

Forward Ports 22 on the BT Voyager210

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virutal Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

From Internet Host IP Address:
Forward To Internal Host IP Address:
By using the rules:
ProtocolExternal PacketForward to Internal Host
Port StartPort EndPort StartPort End

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for iGet on the BT Voyager210 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
