Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

Login to the BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

How to Port Forward QSee QSDR1744LRC-500 on the BeWAN 700-ADSL2+


Having trouble forwarding ports on the BeWAN 700-ADSL2+?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ router to save you time and hassle.

Configuring the DVR to pick up an IP address

  • Press Menu
  • Select Network
  • Make sure Type is set to DHCP

  • Select Apply
  • Select Exit
The DVR will reboot & pick up an ip address from the router.


Identifying the IP address

  • Press Menu
  • Select Network
  • Write down the ip address, subnet mask & gateway.


Assign a Static IP

  • Change Type to Static
  • Input the same ip address, subnet mask & gateway - (you wrote down earlier).

  • Select Apply
  • Select Exit
Now you have completed the ip configuration for the dvr.
Move on to the port forwarding section . in you router.

Now that you are logged in to your BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ router you should see the following:

Click the Reglages Avances link near the top of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Redirection des ports.

Put a dot into the User radio button.

Click the Creer button.

Forward Ports 80 on the BeWAN 700-ADSL2+

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. QSee QSDR1744LRC-500 requires you to forward the 80,9000 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Nouvelle regle menu and then click Terminer.

Forward Ports 9000 on the BeWAN 700-ADSL2+

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Nouvelle regle page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Terminer.

Select the applications you just created in the Regles disponibles list, then click the Ajouter > button to move them to the Regles appliquees box.

When you are finished, click the Terminer button.


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for QSee QSDR1744LRC-500 on the BeWAN 700-ADSL2+ you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
