Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the CNET CNAD804-NF router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your CNET CNAD804-NF router. By default the IP address should be set to

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

Click the Ok button to log in to your CNET CNAD804-NF router.

How to Port Forward ivisit on the CNET CNAD804-NF

Having trouble forwarding ports on the CNET CNAD804-NF?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your router to save you time and hassle.

If you have multiple iVisit users on your LAN, each iVisit user's computer should be set to use a different port for iVisit. When this is the case, you should set iVisit to use port 9940 UDP through port 9950 UDP. For instance, the first computer running iVisit on your network should have port 9940 UDP forwarded to it. The second computer running iVisit on your network should have port 9941 forwarded to it. The third computer running iVisit on your network should have 9942 running on it, and so on and so forth. We will show you how to forward the port for the first computer running iVisit here.

Now that you are logged in to your CNET CNAD804-NF router you should see the following:

Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.

Forward Ports 9940 on the CNET CNAD804-NF

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. ivisit requires you to forward the 9940 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server Configuration menu and then click Add Port Range.

Test if Your Ports are Open
