Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Canyon CN-WF506 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the Canyon CN-WF506 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Canyon CN-WF506 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Canyon CN-WF506 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Canyon CN-WF506 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Canyon CN-WF506 router. By default the IP address should be set to

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Canyon CN-WF506 Router Username is: admin

The Default Canyon CN-WF506 Router Password is: 1234

Click the Ok button to log in to your Canyon CN-WF506 router.

Now that you are logged in to your Canyon CN-WF506 router you should see the following:

Click the NAT link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Server.

Forward Ports 80 on the Canyon CN-WF506

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Supercircuits DMR91U requires you to forward the following ports: 80,9000. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu.

Forward Ports 9000 on the Canyon CN-WF506

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Supercircuits DMR91U on the Canyon CN-WF506 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
