Default Port Forwarding on the Cradlepoint CTR350

To setup port forwarding on this router your computer needs to have a static ip address. Take a look at our Static IP Address guide to setup a static ip address. When you are finished setting up a static ip address, please come back to this page and enter the ip address you setup in the Static IP Address box below.

Do not skip this step!




Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.0.1.

Click the Advanced link near the top of the page.

The menu on the left should change. In this new menu, click Gaming.


Put a checkmark in the Enable checkbox. Enter the name of the program into the Name box. It doesn't really matter what you put into this box, but something that will remind you why these ports are being forwarded would be a good idea. Enter the ip address to forward these ports to into the IP Address box. If you are forwarding ports so you can run a program on your computer, you should enter your computer's ip address into that box. Enter the ports to forward into the TCP Ports to Open and UDP Ports to Open box. These ports can be entered as a list 23,24,25, a range 500-600, or a combination of both 23,45,500-600. Select Allow All from the Inbound Filter drop down box. Select Always from the Schedule drop down box. When you are finished, click the Save button.

When you're finished, click Save Settings near the top of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!
