Port Forwarding the FRITZ WLAN7340 Router for Jumi Controller

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the FRITZ WLAN7340 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

Login to the FRITZ WLAN7340 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your FRITZ WLAN7340 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your FRITZ WLAN7340 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The FRITZ WLAN7340 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your FRITZ WLAN7340 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.178.1.

How to Port Forward Jumi Controller on the FRITZ WLAN7340


Having trouble forwarding ports on the FRITZ WLAN7340?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your FRITZ WLAN7340 router to save you time and hassle.

Now that you are logged in to your FRITZ WLAN7340 router you should see the following:

Click the Internet link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Permit Access.

Click the New Port Forwarding button near the center of the page.

Forward Ports 5720 on the FRITZ WLAN7340

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Jumi Controller requires you to forward the 5720 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the New Port Forwarding menu and then click Ok.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers New Port Forwarding page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Ok.

And that is it! You are done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Jumi Controller on the FRITZ WLAN7340 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
