Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the FRITZ WLAN7390 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the FRITZ WLAN7390 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your FRITZ WLAN7390 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your FRITZ WLAN7390 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The FRITZ WLAN7390 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your FRITZ WLAN7390 router. By default the IP address should be set to

How to Port Forward Qsee QSD2316C16-320 on the FRITZ WLAN7390

Having trouble forwarding ports on the FRITZ WLAN7390?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your router to save you time and hassle.

Configuring the DVR to pick up an IP address

  • Press Menu
  • Select System

  • Select Network

  • Put a check in the DHCP box.
  • Select OK.

  • Exit out to the live cameras by pressing the ESC button on the DVR.

Power Cycle the DVR

  • Remove the power cable from the back of the dvr.
  • Wait 20 seconds.
  • Plug in the power cable.

Identifying the IP address

  • Press Menu
  • Select Info
  • Select Network

  • Write down the IP address, subnet mask & gateway found on your info network screen.

Assign a Static IP

  • Press Menu
  • Select System

  • Select Network

  • Remove the check from the DHCP box.
  • Input the same IP address, subnet mask & gateway - (you wrote down earlier).

  • Select ok

Now that you are logged in to your FRITZ WLAN7390 router you should see the following:

Click the Internet link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Freigaben.

Click the Neue Portfreigabe button near the right of the page.

Forward Ports 80 on the FRITZ WLAN7390

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Qsee QSD2316C16-320 requires you to forward the 80,2000 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Portfreigabe menu and then click Ok.

Forward Ports 2000 on the FRITZ WLAN7390

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Portfreigabe page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Ok.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Qsee QSD2316C16-320 on the FRITZ WLAN7390 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
