Port Forwarding the Gigabyte GN-BR01G Router for Microsofts Flight Simulator X

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Gigabyte GN-BR01G router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

Login to the Gigabyte GN-BR01G Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Gigabyte GN-BR01G Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Gigabyte GN-BR01G router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Gigabyte GN-BR01G Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Gigabyte GN-BR01G router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.254.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Gigabyte GN-BR01G Router Username is: admin

The Default Gigabyte GN-BR01G Router Password is: admin


Click the Ok button to log in to your Gigabyte GN-BR01G router.

Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click PPPoE/DHCP/Static.

Microsofts Flight Simulator X requires you to forward the following ports: 3783,6073,6500,6515,6667,13139,23456,27900,28900,29900-29901. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the PPPoE/DHCP/Static Configuration menu.

When you're finished, click Submit near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
