To setup port forwarding on the Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:
Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your device, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your device here:
Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
It's ok if you don't know your Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.
Click the Ok button to log in to your Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 router.

If you can't login to your router because you forgot your Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 router username and password, use our How to Reset a Router Password guide to set your Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 router back to its factory settings.
If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 router to save you time and hassle.
Now that you are logged in to your Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 router you should see the following:
Click the Other Settings link near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click NAT.
Click the Add button.
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. PS3 Legendary requires you to forward the AppFullPortsListTag ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the NAT Rule - Add menu and then click Submit.
You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers NAT Rule - Add page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Submit.
Select REDIRECT from the Rule Type drop down box.
Use the Protocol drop down box to select the protocol type of the ports you are forwarding.
Enter the ip address to forward these ports to into the Local IP box. If you are forwarding ports so you can run a program on your device, you should enter your device's ip address into that box.
Leave Global Address From and Global Address To set to 0.0.0.0.
Leave Destination Port From and Destination Port To set to Any Other Port.
If you are forwarding a single port, enter that port number into the Destination Port From and the Destination Port To boxes. If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of that range into the Destination Port From box. Then enter the highest number of that range into the Destination Port To box.
When you are finished, click the Submit button.
Click the Advanced Function link near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click IP Filter.
Select Low from the Security Level drop down box.
Select Accept from the Public Default Action drop down box.
Select Accept from the Private Default Action drop down box.
When you're finished, click Save & Reboot near the left of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Now that you have forwarded ports for PS3 Legendary on the Huawei SMARTAX-MT-800 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
