Port Forwarding the Inexq ISO50s Router for PalTalk

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Inexq ISO50s router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

192.168.1. <-- Don't Skip This Step!

Login to the Inexq ISO50s Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Inexq ISO50s Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Inexq ISO50s router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Inexq ISO50s Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Inexq ISO50s router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your Inexq ISO50s password. Enter the password now.

The Default Inexq ISO50s Router Password is: blank


Click the Login button to log in to your Inexq ISO50s router.

Now that you are logged in to your Inexq ISO50s router you should see the following:

Click the Advanced Setup link near the center of the page.

Click the NAT link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Server.

Forward Ports 2090 on the Inexq ISO50s

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. PalTalk requires you to forward the following ports: 2090,2091,2095. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

Forward Ports 2095 on the Inexq ISO50s

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

Forward Ports 2090 on the Inexq ISO50s

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

Forward Ports 2091 on the Inexq ISO50s

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for PalTalk on the Inexq ISO50s you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
