Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Level One FBR-1411TX router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the Level One FBR-1411TX Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Level One FBR-1411TX Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Level One FBR-1411TX router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Level One FBR-1411TX Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Level One FBR-1411TX router. By default the IP address should be set to

You should see a box prompting you for your Level One FBR-1411TX password. Enter the password now.

The Default Level One FBR-1411TX Router Password is: admin

Click the Login button to log in to your Level One FBR-1411TX router.

How to Port Forward QSee QSPDVR04 on the Level One FBR-1411TX

Having trouble forwarding ports on the Level One FBR-1411TX?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your router to save you time and hassle.

Before we can forward ports to your DVR, we need to change some settings in your DVR.

Open the SuperDvr program. Click the lock on the right side of the window to log in. By default the username is system and the password is blank. That might mean that you enter nothing for the password, or you might actually have to type blank.

Click the wrench tool on the right hand side of the screen to get in to the configuration menu.

Now that you are logged in to your Level One FBR-1411TX router you should see the following:

Click the Forwarding Rules link near the top of the page.

Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.

Forward Ports 80,1159-1161 on the Level One FBR-1411TX

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. QSee QSPDVR04 requires you to forward the following ports: 80,1159-1161. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu.

When you're finished, click Save near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for QSee QSPDVR04 on the Level One FBR-1411TX you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
