Port Forwarding the Linksys HR200 Router for Cossacks

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Linksys HR200 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

Login to the Linksys HR200 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Linksys HR200 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Linksys HR200 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Linksys HR200 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Linksys HR200 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your Linksys HR200 password. Enter the password now.

The Default Linksys HR200 Router Password is: admin


Click the Ok button to log in to your Linksys HR200 router.

How to Port Forward Cossacks on the Linksys HR200

Now that you are logged in to your Linksys HR200 router you should see the following:

Click the Applications & Gaming button near the top of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Port Forwarding.

Forward Ports 2300-2400 on the Linksys HR200

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Cossacks requires you to forward the following ports: 2300-2400,47624. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Port Forwarding menu.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Port Forwarding page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

When you're finished, click Save Settings near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Cossacks on the Linksys HR200 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
