To setup port forwarding on the MacSense MIH-130A router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:
Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
It's ok if you don't know your MacSense MIH-130A router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your MacSense MIH-130A router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.
Click the Ok button to log in to your MacSense MIH-130A router.

Before we can forward ports for BearShare, we need to figure out what ports BearShare is using. Here is a brief walkthrough on how to do that. Go ahead and open up BearShare.
Click Setup in the menu at the top of your screen. In the list that drops down click Connection.
On this page you should see a Listening Port for Incomming TCP and UDP Connections box. This box contains the port you need to forward to the computer you are running BearShare on. You can change this port number if you want to. Please enter the port you chose into the box below.
Now that you are logged in to your MacSense MIH-130A router you should see the following:
Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. BearShare requires you to forward the ports you entered above. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu.

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Now that you have forwarded ports for BearShare on the MacSense MIH-130A you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
