Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
It's ok if you don't know your Netcomm NB4 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Netcomm NB4 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.
We do not currently know the default username and password for your router. If you know them, please use our Comments page to let us know what they are. Thanks!Please visit our Default Router Passwords page if the username and password shown above do not work for you.
If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your Netcomm NB4 router to save you time and hassle.
Now that you are logged in to your Netcomm NB4 router you should see the following:
Click the Advanced button near the top of the page.
The menu on the left should change. In this new menu, click Port Forwarding.
Put a dot into the User radio button.
Click the New button near the bottom of the page.
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Need for Speed requires you to forward the 9442 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Rule Management menu and then click Apply.
|Port Start:||Port End:|
Select the applications you just created in the Available Rules list, then click the Add > button to move them to the Applied Rules box.
When you are finished, click the Apply button.
When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Now that you have forwarded ports for Need for Speed on the Netcomm NB4 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
