Port Forwarding the Netcomm NB600W Router for Championship Manager 3

Login to the Netcomm NB600W Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Netcomm NB600W Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Netcomm NB600W router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Netcomm NB600W Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Netcomm NB600W router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Netcomm NB600W Router Username is: admin

The Default Netcomm NB600W Router Password is: admin


Click the Ok button to log in to your Netcomm NB600W router.

Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.

Click the Define Application button.

Forward Ports 6667 on the Netcomm NB600W

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Championship Manager 3 requires you to forward the 6667 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Define Application menu and then click Add.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Define Application page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add.

Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.

Enter the ip address to forward these ports to into the Server IP Address box. If you are forwarding ports so you can run a program on your computer, you should enter your computer's ip address into that box.

Select the applications you just created in the Application list, then click the Add button to move them to the Virtual Server box.

And that is it! You are done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Championship Manager 3 on the Netcomm NB600W you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
