Port Forwarding the Netgear CGD24N Router for Brothers in Arms-Earned in Blood

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Netgear CGD24N router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

192.168.0. <-- Don't Skip This Step!

Login to the Netgear CGD24N Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Netgear CGD24N Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Netgear CGD24N router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Netgear CGD24N Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Netgear CGD24N router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Netgear CGD24N Router Username is: admin

The Default Netgear CGD24N Router Password is: password


Click the Ok button to log in to your Netgear CGD24N router.

Now that you are logged in to your Netgear CGD24N router you should see the following:

Click the Firewall link near the left of the page.

Forward Ports 40000-43000 on the Netgear CGD24N

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Brothers in Arms-Earned in Blood requires you to forward the 40000-43000,44000,45000-45001 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Port Forwarding menu and then click Add.

Forward Ports 44000 on the Netgear CGD24N

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Port Forwarding page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add.

Forward Ports 45000-45001 on the Netgear CGD24N

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Port Forwarding page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add.
