Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Netgear RT311 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your device, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your device here:

You should see a box prompting you for your Netgear RT311 password. Enter the password now.

The Default Netgear RT311 Router Password is: 1234

Click the Ok button to log in to your Netgear RT311 router.

Forward Ports 80 on the Netgear RT311

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. KGuard KG-SHA116 requires you to forward the following ports: 80,9000. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Multiple Server Configuration menu.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for KGuard KG-SHA116 on the Netgear RT311 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
