To setup port forwarding on the Netopia 2247-02 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:
Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
It's ok if you don't know your Netopia 2247-02 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Netopia 2247-02 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.254.
Click the Ok button to log in to your Netopia 2247-02 router.

Move on to the port forwarding section . in you router.
Now that you are logged in to your Netopia 2247-02 router you should see the following:
Click the Expert Mode link near the left of the page.
Click the OK button near the center of the page.
Click the Configure link near the left of the page.
Click the Advanced link near the bottom of the page.
Click the Pinholes link near the center of the page.
Click the Add button near the center of the page.
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. QSee QR4174-411-3 requires you to forward the 80,9000 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Pinhole Entry menu and then click Submit.
You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Pinhole Entry page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Submit.
When you're finished, click Restart near the top of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Now that you have forwarded ports for QSee QR4174-411-3 on the Netopia 2247-02 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
