Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Nexland ISB-Pro400 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the Nexland ISB-Pro400 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Nexland ISB-Pro400 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Nexland ISB-Pro400 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Nexland ISB-Pro400 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Nexland ISB-Pro400 router. By default the IP address should be set to

How to Port Forward GE Security TVR-1004-1T on the Nexland ISB-Pro400

Now that you are logged in to your Nexland ISB-Pro400 router you should see the following:

Click the Custom Virtual Server link near the left of the page.

Forward Ports 80 on the Nexland ISB-Pro400

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. GE Security TVR-1004-1T requires you to forward the 80,8000 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Add Virtual Server menu and then click Apply.

Forward Ports 8000 on the Nexland ISB-Pro400

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Add Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Apply.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for GE Security TVR-1004-1T on the Nexland ISB-Pro400 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
