Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Origo BRP-1400 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your device, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your device here:

Login to the Origo BRP-1400 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Origo BRP-1400 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Origo BRP-1400 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Origo BRP-1400 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Origo BRP-1400 router. By default the IP address should be set to

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Origo BRP-1400 Router Username is: admin

The Default Origo BRP-1400 Router Password is: admin

Click the Ok button to log in to your Origo BRP-1400 router.

How to Port Forward Pruna on the Origo BRP-1400

Now that you are logged in to your Origo BRP-1400 router you should see the following:

Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.

Forward Ports 4662 on the Origo BRP-1400

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Pruna requires you to forward the following ports: 4662,4672. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server Settings menu.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server Settings page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Pruna on the Origo BRP-1400 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
