Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the PCI BLW-54MF router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the PCI BLW-54MF Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your PCI BLW-54MF Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your PCI BLW-54MF router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The PCI BLW-54MF Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your PCI BLW-54MF router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

How to Port Forward Qsee QSDT88GRTC-320 on the PCI BLW-54MF


Having trouble forwarding ports on the PCI BLW-54MF?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your PCI BLW-54MF router to save you time and hassle.

Configuring the DVR to pick up an IP address

  • Press Menu
  • Select System

  • Select Network

  • Put a check in the DHCP box.
  • Select OK.

  • Exit out to the live cameras by pressing the ESC button on the DVR.


Power Cycle the DVR

  • Remove the power cable from the back of the dvr.
  • Wait 20 seconds.
  • Plug in the power cable.


Identifying the IP address

  • Press Menu
  • Select Info
  • Select Network

  • Write down the IP address, subnet mask & gateway found on your info network screen.



Assign a Static IP

  • Press Menu
  • Select System

  • Select Network

  • Remove the check from the DHCP box.
  • Input the same IP address, subnet mask & gateway - (you wrote down earlier).

  • Select ok

Now that you are logged in to your PCI BLW-54MF router you should see the following:

Click the Access button near the left of the page.

Click the Virtual Server link near the top of the page.

Forward Ports 80 on the PCI BLW-54MF

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Qsee QSDT88GRTC-320 requires you to forward the 80,2000 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu and then click Add.

Forward Ports 2000 on the PCI BLW-54MF

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add.

Test if Your Ports are Open
