Login To The Planet ADE-4400 Router Using Your Web Browser
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Planet ADE-4400 router.
By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.254.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

Click the Ok button to log in to your Planet ADE-4400 router.

Configuring the DVR to pick up an IP address
Put a check in the DHCP box.
Exit out to the live cameras by pressing the ESC button on the DVR.
Power Cycle the DVR
Remove the power cable from the back of the dvr.
Wait 20 seconds.
Plug in the power cable.
Identifying the IP address
Write down the IP address, subnet mask & gateway found on your info network screen.
Assign a Static IP
Remove the check from the DHCP box.
Input the same IP address, subnet mask & gateway - (you wrote down earlier).

Now that you are logged in to your Planet ADE-4400 router you should see the following:
Click the Advanced link near the left of the page.
Click the NAT link.
Click the Edit Virtual Server link.
Forward Ports 80 on the Planet ADE-4400
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. QSee QSTD2416 requires
you to forward the following ports: 80,2000. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Edit Virtual Server menu.
Start Port No.
End Port No.
Forward Ports 2000 on the Planet ADE-4400
You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Edit Virtual Server page.
Go ahead and enter those settings now.
Start Port No.
End Port No.
When you're finished, click Save near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Test if Your Ports are Open
Now that you have forwarded ports for QSee QSTD2416 on the Planet ADE-4400 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
