Port Forwarding the Pluscom AWR-7200 Router for Shareaza

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address
To setup port forwarding on the Pluscom AWR-7200 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:
- Either try our free program that will setup a static IP address for you called PF Setup Static IP.
- Or follow our Static IP Address guide to setup a static IP address.
Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:
Login to the Pluscom AWR-7200 Router
Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
How To Find Your Pluscom AWR-7200 Router IP Address
It's ok if you don't know your Pluscom AWR-7200 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
- Either find your router IP address using this guide: How To Find Your Routers IP Address
- Or you can use our Free Software to find your router IP address. PF Static IP Address and PF Router Detector are both free software applications that will help you find your router IP address.
Login To The Pluscom AWR-7200 Router Using Your Web Browser
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Pluscom AWR-7200 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

Click the Login button to log in to your Pluscom AWR-7200 router.

How to Port Forward Shareaza on the Pluscom AWR-7200

Now that you are logged in to your Pluscom AWR-7200 router you should see the following:
Click the Advanced Setup button near the bottom of the page.
Click the Advanced button near the top of the page.
The menu on the left should change. In this new menu, click Port Forwarding.
Put a dot into the User radio button.
Click the New button near the bottom of the page.

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Shareaza requires you to forward the ports you entered above. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Rule Management menu and then click Apply.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Rule Management page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Apply.

Select the applications you just created in the Available Rules list, then click the Add > button to move them to the Applied Rules box.
When you are finished, click the Apply button.
Click the Tools button near the top of the page.
Click the System Commands link near the left of the page.
When you're finished, click Save All and then Restart near the center of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Test if Your Ports are Open
Now that you have forwarded ports for Shareaza on the Pluscom AWR-7200 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
