Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Pronet PN-54WRT router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the Pronet PN-54WRT Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Pronet PN-54WRT Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Pronet PN-54WRT router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Pronet PN-54WRT Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Pronet PN-54WRT router. By default the IP address should be set to

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

Click the Ok button to log in to your Pronet PN-54WRT router.

How to Port Forward Warcraft III on the Pronet PN-54WRT

Having trouble forwarding ports on the Pronet PN-54WRT?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your Pronet PN-54WRT router to save you time and hassle.

We are going to show you how to forward port 6112 TCP, which is the only port that must be forwarded for Warcraft III. You can change the port that Warcraft III uses for hosting on the Options/Gameplay screen. If you decide to change the port that Warcraft III is uses for hosting you should select a port in the 6113-6119 range. You would really only want to do this when you had two computers on your network that were trying to host custom games. Remember that you would need to forward the port that the second computer will be hosting on to the second computer.

Now that you are logged in to your Pronet PN-54WRT router you should see the following:

Click the Forwarding link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Servers.

Click the Add New button near the center of the page.

Forward Ports 6112-6119 on the Pronet PN-54WRT

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Warcraft III requires you to forward the 6112-6119 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Add or Modify a Virtual Server Entry menu and then click Save.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Warcraft III on the Pronet PN-54WRT you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
