Port Forwarding the Retail Plus+ RouterPlus Router for Dragon Age II

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Retail Plus+ RouterPlus router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

192.168.1. <-- Don't Skip This Step!

Login to the Retail Plus+ RouterPlus Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Retail Plus+ RouterPlus Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Retail Plus+ RouterPlus router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Retail Plus+ RouterPlus Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Retail Plus+ RouterPlus router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your Retail Plus+ RouterPlus password. Enter the password now.

The Default Retail Plus+ RouterPlus Router Password is: blank


Click the Login button to log in to your Retail Plus+ RouterPlus router.

How to Port Forward Dragon Age II on the Retail Plus+ RouterPlus

Now that you are logged in to your Retail Plus+ RouterPlus router you should see the following:

Click the Advanced Setup link near the center of the page.

Click the NAT link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Server.

Forward Ports 80,1900,5355,8000-8001,12025,15101-15325,18081 on the Retail Plus+ RouterPlus

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Dragon Age II requires you to forward the following ports: 80,1900,5355,8000-8001,12025,15101-15325,18081,42127. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Dragon Age II on the Retail Plus+ RouterPlus you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
