Login To The SMC 2804WBRP-G Router Using Your Web Browser
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your SMC 2804WBRP-G router.
By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.2.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your SMC 2804WBRP-G password. Enter the password now.

Click the Login button to log in to your SMC 2804WBRP-G router.

Configuring the DVR to pick up an IP address
Make sure Type is set to DHCP
The DVR will reboot & pick up an ip address from the router.
Identifying the IP address
Write down the ip address, subnet mask & gateway.
Assign a Static IP
Change Type to Static
Input the same ip address, subnet mask & gateway - (you wrote down earlier).
Now you have completed the ip configuration for the dvr.
Move on to the port forwarding section . in you router.

Now that you are logged in to your SMC 2804WBRP-G router you should see the following:
Click the NAT link near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Server.
Forward Ports 80,9000 on the SMC 2804WBRP-G
