Having trouble forwarding ports on the SMC 7004BR?

If you are having trouble with this guide, then perhaps PFConfig may be your solution. PFConfig is a software tool that will automatically forward ports for your SMC 7004BR router to save you time and hassle.

Before we can forward ports, we need to do a little configuration. Here is a brief walkthrough on how to do that. Go ahead and open up your thermostat's Configuration page.

On this page you need to change the HTTP Port to 81, and ASCII Port to 10001. For every additional thermostat you'll want to increase each number by one. So thermostat #1 would be ports 81 and 10001, thermostat #2 would be ports 82 and 10002, thermostat #3 would be ports 83 and 10003, ect.

Once you've finished configuring things, go ahead and click the Save & Reboot button to save things. After you have finished saving and rebooting, you will need to log in to your thermostat again.
