Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the SMC 7004WBR router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:


Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

Login to the SMC 7004WBR Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your SMC 7004WBR Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your SMC 7004WBR router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The SMC 7004WBR Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your SMC 7004WBR router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.123.254.

You should see a box prompting you for your SMC 7004WBR password. Enter the password now.

The Default SMC 7004WBR Router Password is: admin


Click the Log in button to log in to your SMC 7004WBR router.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

When you're finished, click Save near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for PS3 MotoGP 08 on the SMC 7004WBR you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
