Port Forwarding the Sagem Fast2504 Router for Quake 2

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Sagem Fast2504 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

• Either try our free program that will setup a static IP address for you called PF Setup Static IP.
• Or follow our Static IP Address guide to setup a static IP address.

Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

Login to the Sagem Fast2504 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Sagem Fast2504 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Sagem Fast2504 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

• Either find your router IP address using this guide: How To Find Your Routers IP Address
• Or you can use our Free Software to find your router IP address. PF Static IP Address and PF Router Detector are both free software applications that will help you find your router IP address.

Login To The Sagem Fast2504 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Sagem Fast2504 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Sagem Fast2504 Router Username is: admin

The Default Sagem Fast2504 Router Password is: sky

Click the Ok button to log in to your Sagem Fast2504 router.

How to Port Forward Quake 2 on the Sagem Fast2504

Now that you are logged in to your Sagem Fast2504 router you should see the following:

Forward Port 27910 on the Sagem Fast2504

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Quake 2 requires you to forward the 27910 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu and then click Save.

Click Security near the top of the screen. You should then see a new menu under Security, in this new menu click Services. You should now be on the following screen.


On this screen, click the Add Custom Service link near the bottom.


Go ahead and enter the above settings into your router. When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom. Now we need to tell your router what to do with the service you just created. Click the Firewall Rules link near the top of the page. You should now be on the following screen.


On this page, click Add in the Inbound Services or Outbound Services section. If you are unsure if the program you are using will use these ports for inbound or outbound traffic, repeat the process for both inbound and outbound.


Go ahead and enter the above settings into your router. When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom.

And that is it! You are done!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Quake 2 on the Sagem Fast2504 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
