Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Scientific-Atlanta WebSTAR-EPC2434 router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Forward Ports 1227 on the Scientific-Atlanta WebSTAR-EPC2434

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. DNS2Go requires you to forward the following ports: 1227. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Advanced Settings - Port Forwarding menu.

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for DNS2Go on the Scientific-Atlanta WebSTAR-EPC2434 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
