Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Sitecom DC-224 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the Sitecom DC-224 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Sitecom DC-224 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Sitecom DC-224 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Sitecom DC-224 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Sitecom DC-224 router. By default the IP address should be set to 10.0.0.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Sitecom DC-224 Router Username is: admin

The Default Sitecom DC-224 Router Password is: admin


Click the Ok button to log in to your Sitecom DC-224 router.

Click the Advanced Settings link near the top of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virt.Serv.

Synology DS411+II requires you to forward the 20-22,25,80,110-111,137-139,143,443,445,548,873,892,993,995,2049,3260,4662,4672,5000-5001,5005-5006,5432,6881-6999,7000-7001,9997-9999,55536-55663,55736-55863 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server Settings menu and then click Apply.
