Port Forwarding the Sitecom WL-306 Router for Need for Speed 3

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Sitecom WL-306 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the Sitecom WL-306 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Sitecom WL-306 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Sitecom WL-306 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Sitecom WL-306 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Sitecom WL-306 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Sitecom WL-306 Router Username is: admin

The Default Sitecom WL-306 Router Password is: admin


Click the Ok button to log in to your Sitecom WL-306 router.

Now that you are logged in to your Sitecom WL-306 router you should see the following:

Click the Advanced Settings button near the top of the page.

This router has two different sections that allow you to forward ports. One section allows you to forward a range of ports, and the other allows you to forward a single port. To forward a range of ports, click Port Forwarding. To forward a single port, click Virtual Server.

Forward Ports 1030 on the Sitecom WL-306

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Need for Speed 3 requires you to forward the 1030 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Port Forwarding or Virtual Server menu and then click Add.
