Login To The Soho TEI402M Router Using Your Web Browser
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Soho TEI402M router.
By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

Click the Ok button to log in to your Soho TEI402M router.

Configuring the DVR to pick up an IP address
Make sure Type is set to DHCP
The DVR will reboot & pick up an ip address from the router.
Identifying the IP address
Write down the ip address, subnet mask & gateway.
Assign a Static IP
Change Type to Static
Input the same ip address, subnet mask & gateway - (you wrote down earlier).
Now you have completed the ip configuration for the dvr.
Move on to the port forwarding section . in you router.

Now that you are logged in to your Soho TEI402M router you should see the following:
Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Server.

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. QSee QSDR8V8DRTC-320 requires
you to forward the 80,9000 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu and then click Add.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page.
Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add.
And that is it! You are done!
Test if Your Ports are Open
Now that you have forwarded ports for QSee QSDR8V8DRTC-320 on the Soho TEI402M you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
