Port Forwarding the Sorenson VRS SR-200 Router for PS3 Scratch

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Sorenson VRS SR-200 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the Sorenson VRS SR-200 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Sorenson VRS SR-200 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Sorenson VRS SR-200 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Sorenson VRS SR-200 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Sorenson VRS SR-200 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Sorenson VRS SR-200 Router Username is: admin

The Default Sorenson VRS SR-200 Router Password is: blank


Click the Ok button to log in to your Sorenson VRS SR-200 router.

Forward Ports 5223 on the Sorenson VRS SR-200

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. PS3 Scratch requires you to forward the 5223,3478,3479,3658 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu and then click Apply.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Apply.

Forward Ports 3479 on the Sorenson VRS SR-200

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Apply.

Forward Ports 3658 on the Sorenson VRS SR-200

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Apply.

And that is it! You are done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for PS3 Scratch on the Sorenson VRS SR-200 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
