Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Sphairon Turbolink-AR860C1-A router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Sphairon Turbolink-AR860C1-A router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

Click the Log In button to log in to your Sphairon Turbolink-AR860C1-A router.

Forward Ports 2033 on the Sphairon Turbolink-AR860C1-A

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Civilization IV requires you to forward the 2033,2056,2302-2400,3783,6500,6515,6667,13139,27900,28900,29900,29901 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Rule Management menu and then click Apply.

Select the applications you just created in the Available Rules list, then click the Add > button to move them to the Applied Rules box.

When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Civilization IV on the Sphairon Turbolink-AR860C1-A you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
