Port Forwarding the Surecom EP-4704SX Router for City of Villains

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address
To setup port forwarding on the Surecom EP-4704SX router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:
- Either try our free program that will setup a static IP address for you called PF Setup Static IP.
- Or follow our Static IP Address guide to setup a static IP address.
Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:
Login to the Surecom EP-4704SX Router
Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
How To Find Your Surecom EP-4704SX Router IP Address
It's ok if you don't know your Surecom EP-4704SX router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
- Either find your router IP address using this guide: How To Find Your Routers IP Address
- Or you can use our Free Software to find your router IP address. PF Static IP Address and PF Router Detector are both free software applications that will help you find your router IP address.
Login To The Surecom EP-4704SX Router Using Your Web Browser
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Surecom EP-4704SX router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

Click the Log In button to log in to your Surecom EP-4704SX router.

How to Port Forward City of Villains on the Surecom EP-4704SX

Now that you are logged in to your Surecom EP-4704SX router you should see the following:
Click the Advanced button near the top of the page.
Click the Port Forwarding link near the left of the page.
Put a dot into the User radio button.
Click the New button near the bottom of the page.

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. City of Villains requires you to forward the 2104,2106,6994,7000-7100 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Rule Management menu and then click Apply.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Rule Management page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Apply.

Forward Ports 7000-7100 on the Surecom EP-4704SX
You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Rule Management page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Apply.

Select the applications you just created in the Available Rules list, then click the Add > button to move them to the Applied Rules box.
When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Test if Your Ports are Open
Now that you have forwarded ports for City of Villains on the Surecom EP-4704SX you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
