Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the T-Com Speedport-W502V router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the T-Com Speedport-W502V Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your T-Com Speedport-W502V Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your T-Com Speedport-W502V router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The T-Com Speedport-W502V Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your T-Com Speedport-W502V router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.2.1.

Forward Ports 8999 on the T-Com Speedport-W502V
