Port Forwarding the TP-Link TD-W9810G Router for R.U.S.E.

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address
To setup port forwarding on the TP-Link TD-W9810G router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:
- Either try our free program that will setup a static IP address for you called PF Setup Static IP.
- Or follow our Static IP Address guide to setup a static IP address.
Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:
Login to the TP-Link TD-W9810G Router
Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
How To Find Your TP-Link TD-W9810G Router IP Address
It's ok if you don't know your TP-Link TD-W9810G router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
- Either find your router IP address using this guide: How To Find Your Routers IP Address
- Or you can use our Free Software to find your router IP address. PF Static IP Address and PF Router Detector are both free software applications that will help you find your router IP address.
Login To The TP-Link TD-W9810G Router Using Your Web Browser
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your TP-Link TD-W9810G router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.
The Default TP-Link TD-W9810G Router Username is: admin
The Default TP-Link TD-W9810G Router Password is: admin
Click the Ok button to log in to your TP-Link TD-W9810G router.

How to Port Forward R.U.S.E. on the TP-Link TD-W9810G

Now that you are logged in to your TP-Link TD-W9810G router you should see the following:
Click the Advanced Setup link near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click NAT.
Click the Add button near the center of the page.
Forward Port 3478 on the TP-Link TD-W9810G
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. R.U.S.E. requires you to forward the following ports: 3478,4379-4380,25150-25199,27000-27050. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Servers menu.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Servers page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

Forward Ports 25150-25199 on the TP-Link TD-W9810G
You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Servers page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

Forward Ports 27000-27050 on the TP-Link TD-W9810G
You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Servers page. Go ahead and enter those settings now.

When you're finished, click Save/Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Test if Your Ports are Open
Now that you have forwarded ports for R.U.S.E. on the TP-Link TD-W9810G you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
